Welcome to CAPCS Online!

CAPCS Online is a unique partnership between the Dorothy I. Height Community Academy Public Charter School and K12™. Our students are proud members of the CAPCS family who engage their education in a virtual environment. CAPCS Online offers the K12™ Advanced Education Curriculum in an effort to provide our students with current, meaningful, and engaging lessons in reading, language arts, mathematics, history, science, music, and art. CAPCS Online even offers World Language courses in five languages, including Spanish, German, French, Latin, and Chinese!

Our students range from kindergarten to grade 8, and are assisted by certified, motivated teachers both virtually and in person. Our academic leaders and teachers also support parents and other adults in the home as they take on their important role as the students’ “learning coaches.” Although many of the lessons and learning activities occur online and in the home, CAPCS Online students are often brought together through face-to-face learning sessions at the Amos 3 CAPCS campus. Our students and families are also invited and encouraged to attend a wide variety of fun and educational family outings and field trips each month. Thank you for your interest in our school.
