Ms. Williams retired after a distinguished 32-year career as a DC Public School teacher. In addition to being a classroom teacher, Ms. Williams served as Lead Teacher, Demonstration Teacher, Standards Specialist, and Resident Mentor. She was Chairperson of the Global Village Department at Brightwood Elementary and served as a Reading Teacher. A graduate of Federal City College, Ms. Williams did post graduate work at Trinity College, University of the District of Columbia, and George Washington University. Ms. Williams resides in Maryland.
