Sharon Thomas

Ms. Thomas is retired after 20 years service with the Office of the General Counsel at the United States Department of Defense, specializing in legal research and technology. During her tenure with the DoD, she served as President of the Blacks in Government Chapter and was active in mentoring high school interns who had been placed in training programs to ensure they got the most out of these programs. Ms. Thomas served on the Board of Directors of the early childhood center at the Ft. Belvoir Army base and currently serves as president of the PTA at the CAPCS Amos 3 Middle School. She also volunteers at her neighborhood recreation center supporting the seniors program and is active in local politics. Ms. Thomas’s son attends CAPCS Amos 3 Middle School campus. Ms. Thomas resides in the District of Columbia.
