Lynne Cowan

Ms. Cowan currently serves CAPCS as director of external affairs and board liaison. She is an attorney with over 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial law. She has represented the interests of children as a Court Appointed Special Advocate through the Virginia juvenile and family court system. Ms. Cowan serves as a Board member for Teaching for Change and has actively tutored children for the past 15 years in DC schools and through Project North star. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California and received her JD from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. Ms. Cowan resides in the District of Columbia.
